Founded in 2006, Ocular Robotics designs and manufactures high performance sensor pointing technologies for use in areas including the defence, resources and robotics sectors. Our patented core technology was developed by the founder Mark Bishop and is at the heart of all Ocular Robotics' systems. The performance and flexibility of our systems is unmatched with performance metrics exceeded by an order of magnitude and more over alternative technologies.

In late 2008 Ocular Robotics launched the first products in its RobotEye range. The RobotEye RE01 an ultra high performance camera pointing system capable of pointing the field of view of a wide range of cameras about two axes with extremely high velocity, acceleration and accuracy, followed by the RE02 a short range two axis lidar scanner with a measurement rate of up to 200kHz and completely arbitrary scan path capabilities.

Ocular Robotics continues its development of new high performance sensor pointing systems to expand its product offering as well as development of custom solutions for clients in the defence, resources, robotics and other sectors.
